Irene Marie Giulietti, 88, of Charleston, died Thursday, May 22, 2008, in a Fort Smith Hospital. She was born April 2, 1920, in Covelo, CA, to the late George Fales and Marie Partout Fales. She was a clerk for the U.S. Postal Service in Long Beach, CA, a member of the Charleston Garden Club, Vesta Homemakers Club and the Charleston First United Methodist Church, and attended Harvest Time Tabernacle in Fort Smith. She is preceded in death by her husband, Joe Giulietti; a son, Buck Wood; and four brothers, Breezy, Bobby, Benny, and Arthur Fales.

Funeral service will be 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, May 27, 2008, at the Brotherton Funeral Home Chapel in Charleston, with burial at the Garden of Memories Cemetery in Charleston. Officiating the service will be the Rev. Mark Rogers.

She is survived by one daughter, Pat Lockwood of Charleston; a brother, Dave Fales of Omaha, Nebraska; five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Monday at Brotherton Brothers Funeral Home in Charleston.
