Obituary

Denton Jay Gattis, infant son of Michael Brandon Gattis and Rachel Ann (Stengel) Gattis of Ozark, Arkansas, passed away Wednesday, March 30, 2016, in Fort Smith, Arkansas. He was preceded in death by his maternal great-grandfather, Herbert Stengel and his paternal great-grandparents, Sonny and Louise Gattis and Joe and Shirley Burton.

A private family graveside service will be Saturday, April 2nd, at Carpenter Cemetery, located south of Ozark, under the direction of Brotherton Brothers Funeral Home and Flower Shop in Charleston.
Officiating the service will be the Rev. Bill VanMeter.

He is survived by his father and mother, Brandon and Rachel Gattis; one brother, Mason Gattis; his maternal grandparents, Rhonda Stengel of Barling and Glen and Shelby Stengel of Paris; his paternal grandparents, Roger and Teresa Gattis of Ozark; his maternal great-grandparents, Mary Edelhuber of Subiaco and Jerald and Doris Nietert of Ratcliff; his uncle, Roger Don Gattis and wife Savanna of Kansas City, Kansas; two aunts, Kelsey Toney and husband Jon of Charleston and Courtnee Lensing and husband Jason of Midway; four cousins, Jacob Toney, Jake Lensing, Luke Lensing, and Jade Lensing.
