Huey Lee Morris, Sr., who resided near Booneville, Arkansas, died Wednesday, May 3, 2023, at Mercy Hospital in Fort Smith, Arkansas. He was born on November 28, 1933, in Quinton, Oklahoma, to the late Arthur Jackson Morris and Reba Lorraine (Hill) Morris. He was 89 years old. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Myrna Morris; and three sons, Steven Morris, Huey Morris, Jr. and Jim Morris.

Huey work 44 years and was a retired conductor for Santa Fe Railroad.

He is survived by two sons, Clyde Morris and wife Nancy of Booneville and John Morris and wife Carla of Grants, New Mexico; a daughter, Levinda L. Morris of Payson, Arizona; two brothers, Chuck Morris of Ponca City, Arizona, and James Morris of Flagstaff, Arizona; (12) grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.
