Houston G. Weese, 78, of Charleston, died Tuesday, May 6, 2008, in a Fort Smith hospital. He was born August 20, 1929, in Vesta, to the late Jim Weese and Maggie King Weese. He was a retired postal worker, a cattle rancher, an Army veteran of the Korean War, and a Protestant.

Funeral will be 10:00 a.m., Saturday at the Brotherton Brothers Funeral Home Chapel in Charleston, with burial at Garden of Memories Cemetery in Charleston. Officiating the service will be the Rev. Greg Qualls.

He is survived by his wife, Maggie.

Pallbearers will be James Weese, David Wright, Jay,Cecil, and Raymond Harrower, and Randy McCoy. Honorary pallbearers will be Coffee Shop drinking buddies.

The family will visit with friends from 6 to 8 p.m., Friday at the funeral home.
