Houston Conner of Paris, Arkansas, died Tuesday, August 27, 2024, at Paris Health & Rehab Center in Paris. He was born on September 16, 1933, in Haskell, Texas, to the late Luther Conner and Emma (Odem) Conner. He was 90 years old.  He was preceded in death by his parents;  his wife, Ruth (Tyler) Conner; and six brothers.

Houston was an U.S. Air Force veteran serving during the Korean War. He previously worked at the Paris Police Department and worked as a produce manager at Town & Country Grocery in Paris.

A memorial graveside service, with military honors, will be held at 11:00 a.m., Monday, September 16th at Baxley Cemetery in Paris.

He is survived by a daughter, Kathy Roper of Charleston; three grandchildren, Jason Roper, Amanda Huck and Caelan Conner; five great-grandchildren, Jacob Roper, Rebecca Huck, James Roper, Lindsey Huck, and Faith Roper; and an adopted daughter, Ann Greb of Ratcliff.

Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Brotherton Brothers Funeral Home in Paris.
