Obituary
Hillard H. " Hope " Presley was born July 19, 1929 in Charleston, Arkansas. He passsed away Friday September 19, 2008 in a Fort Smith hospital.
Hope was a member of The First Baptist Church in Charleston where he served as a deacon. He was also a active member of the Gideons.
He was educated in Charleston School System and after he graduated high school moved to Houston, Texas where he worked for Hemple Coating until his retirement in 1994.
He and Betty were married for 59 years.
Hope was preceded in death by his parents; Jethro and Loda Belle Martin Presley; two brothers, Nelson and Ronnie Dean Presley.Two sisters; Lova Zeta Davis and Marcella Tigert.
He is survived by his wife Betty. of the home; two daughters, Beth Lee of Austin, Texas; Shamra Boggs of Katy, Texas and one sister Sunny Bernice Snyder of Houston, Texas.
His grandchildren are Michelle Gardner, David Crews, Daniel O'Dell and Jennifer Gerdes; Great- Grandchildren are Sam Crews, Max Crews and Presley Renee Gardner
The body will be cremated and there is no formal visitation or service at this time.
Memorial gifts may be made to the Alzheimers Association.
