Obituary

Hilario "Larry" Michael Vasquez, who resided in Fort Smith, Arkansas, died Wednesday, August 26, 2020, at his home. He was born October 27, 1947, in Naranjito, Puerto Rico, to the late Marcelino Vasquez and Angelina (Cintron) Vasquez. He was 72 years old.

Larry worked many years as a security officer and was a policeman for the Tacoma Police Department in Tacoma, Washington. He also served his country while being enlisted in the U.S. Air Force, and he was a Vietnam War veteran.

A memorial graveside service, with military honors, will be at 1:00 P.M., Friday, September 11th, at Fort Smith National Cemetery in Fort Smith.

He is survived by his four daughters, Elizabeth Bennett and husband Judson, Monica Muraki, and Michelle Bobruk, all of Washington, and Liberty Vasquez of Fort Smith; two sons, Isaac Vasquez and wife Alison of Fort Smith and Jareth Vasquez and wife Taresa of Washington; six grandchildren, Robert, Tyler and Matthew Bennett, Isaac Vasquez, Riley Vasquez, and Laura Vasquez.
