Hester O'Neal Spain, of the Etna Community near Caulksville, Arkansas, passed away Thursday, December 16, 2021. He was born on September 19, 1934, and was 87 years of age. He was preceded in death by his wife, Louise (Freeman) Spain, a son, Glen, and a sister, Pat Gibson.

Hester was a retired carpenter and of the Pentecostal faith.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, December 20th at Oakwood Cemetery in Paris, under the direction of Brotherton Brothers Funeral Home in Paris.

He is survived by three daughters, Brenda Bentley, Lynn Spain, and Mary Walters; five grandchildren, Jason, Sara, Amanda, Kenton, and Seth; several great-grandchildren, and other family members and friends.

Public viewing will be Sunday, December 19th from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the funeral home in Paris.
