Herman A. "Hank" Kessler, who resided near Ozark, Arkansas, formerly of Pine Bush, New York, passed away Friday, July 8, 2011 at Turner Memorial Hospital in Ozark. He was born November 19, 1929 in Manhattan, New York to the late Herman L. Kessler and Rose C. (Schlotterbeck) Kessler. He was 81 years old.
He was also preceded in death by a brother, Robert Kessler.
Hank was a retired electrician from IBEW, Local Union 363, and later retired from Good Samaritan Hospital in Suffern, New York as Director of Engineering. He was a U.S. Navy veteran of the Korean War and also past chief of the Pine Bush Fire Department.
He is survived by his loving wife, Marion M. (Schrempp) Kessler of the home; two sons, Karl M. Kessler and his wife Gloria of Pine Bush, New York and Kenneth Kessler of the home; two granddaughters, Sarah and McKenzie Kessler of Pine Bush, New York, and one brother, Walter Kessler of Lawrenceville, Georgia.
Services will be private at the convience of the family. Friends may visit at their home Monday, July 11th and Tuesday, July 12th at 9323 South Hwy. 23 Ozark, AR 72949.
Cremation was under the direction of Brotherton Brothers Funeral Home in Charleston.
