Henry Carl Riechmann, III, who resided near Charleston, Arkansas, passed away Thursday, February 12, 2026, at Baptist Health Hospital in Fort Smith, Arkansas. He was born on December 30, 1953, in Searcy, Arkansas, to the late Henry Carl Riechmann, Jr. and Ellen Marie (Mosley) Riechmann. He was 72 years old. He was preceded in death by his parents, and a grandson, Joey Riechmann.
Henry was a 1972 graduate of Charleston High School. For 40 plus years, Henry retired as a quality inspector at Rheem Manufacturing, Inc. in Fort Smith. Henry enjoyed the outdoors, hunting, fishing, and gardening. He loved his family very much, especially his grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and will be missed by all who knew him.
A memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Monday, February 16th at Brotherton Funeral Home Chapel in Charleston, with Bro. Ricky Massengale officiating. Cremation and services are under the direction of Brotherton Brothers Funeral Home and Flower Shop in Charleston.
He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Marilyn (Schmalz) Riechmann; his children, Ben Riechmann and wife Carolyn and Tara King, all of Charleston; two sisters, Dianne Jones and husband Roy and Nancy Clay, all of Charleston; a brother, Donald Riechmann and wife Jeanie of Charleston; (6) grandchildren, Taylor King, Baylee Moreno, Breanna Riechmann, Lee Swanson, Zeke Swanson, and James Swanson; and (7) great-grandchildren, Eva King, Jameson King, Opal King, Henry King, Alena Moreno, Jalen Moreno, and Wrenlee Swanson.
