Obituary

Henry Joseph Bearce, who resided near Charleston, Arkansas, died Wednesday, March 22, 2023, at his home. He was born on August 31, 1946, in Jacksonville, Florida, to the late Frank Bearce and Ermal (Rush) Bearce. He was 76 years old.

Henry served 22 years in the U.S. Army and Arkansas National Guard, 296th Medical Unit of Charleston, Arkansas. He served his country during Desert Storm and retired after 36 years from Whirlpool Corporation in Fort Smith. He loved his family very much and will be missed by all who knew him.

He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Georgia (Harrison) Bearce; two daughters, Carolyn White and husband Neal of Greenville, Texas, and Crystal Ferguson and husband Matthew of Charleston; a son, Joe Bearce and his companion Leslie Reynolds of Charleston; five granddaughters, Alexis Ferguson-Bearce and her companion Gavin Stewart of Van Buren, Olivia Reynolds-Bearce of Charleston, Brittnay and husband Blake Cooper of Emory, Texas, Lacey Cameron-Woodard of Fort Valley, Georgia, and Jennifer Bearce of Macon, Georgia; three grandsons, Layne White and wife Julian of Greenville, Texas, Logan Jaynes of Charleston, and Chris Bearce of Macon, Georgia; three great-granddaughters; one great-grandson; and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and cousins.

Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Brotherton Brothers Funeral Home and Flower Shop in Charleston.
