Helen L. (Hill) Patterson, who resided in Paris, Arkansas, passed away Friday, April 12, 2013 in Paris. She was born March 21, 1924 in London, Arkansas to the late Edward E. Hill and Edna (Lay) Hill. She was 89 years old. She was also preceded in death by one son, Wayne Patterson; one sister, Harlena Legg; and two brothers, Burl Hill and Harley Hill.
Helen was a retired factory worker at Lady Fair Mills near Ratcliff. She was a homemaker and member of First Assembly of God in Paris since 1974.
Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Monday, April 15th at Brotherton Funeral Home Chapel in Paris, with Rev. Quinton Rowan officiating. Burial will be at Baxley Cemetery in Paris, under the direction of Brotherton Brothers Funeral Home in Paris.
She is survived by four sons, David Patterson of Paris, Robert Patterson and wife Connie of Paris, Kevin Patterson and wife Teresa of Houston, Texas, and Darryl Patterson and wife Carol of Paris; two sisters, Dorothy Hixson of Sand Springs, Oklahoma and Corine Nixon of Sand Springs, Oklahoma; four brothers, Earl Hill of Sand Springs, Oklahoma, Robert Hill of Paris, Ronnie Hixson of Sand Springs, Oklahoma, and Roy Hixson of Ozark; ten grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, and her life-long best friend, Betty Beck of Paris.
Pallbearers will be her grandchildren and nephews, Daniel Patterson, Bryan Patterson, DeWayne Patterson, Terry Hill, Mike Hixson, and Gene Hixson.
Family will visit with friends 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
