Hartsel "Todd" Sosebee, who resided in Lavaca, Arkansas, passed away Thursday, August 29, 2013 in Fort Smith. He was born May 27, 1927 to the late Ollie Sosebee and Alma (Starr) Sosebee. He was 86 years old. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Fern; three sons, Larry Dale, Rickey, and Britt Sosebee; daughter-in-law, Linda Mae Sosebee; and two brothers, Archie Sosebee and Billy Sosebee.

Hartsel was a retired carpenter. He was an avid hunter and fisherman, member of Donnie Green's Sunday School Class, and member of Lavaca First Baptist Church.

Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, September 3rd, at Lavaca First Baptist Church. Burial will be at Hickory Ridge Cemetery, located east of Lavaca, under the direction of Brotherton Brothers Funeral Home in Charleston.

He is survived by six grandchildren, Audra Thompson, Yolanda Hodges, Clayton Sosebee, Steven Sosebee, Terry Sosebee, and Brianna Sosebee, all of Lavaca; ten great- grandchildren; daughter-in-law, Peggy Sosebee of Lavaca; one sister, Jean Summerhill of Alma, and one brother, Harold Sosebee, Sr. of Fort Smith.

Pallbearers will be Brianna Sosebee, Cody Tebbetts, Courtney Tebbetts, Cierra Martin, Garrett Hodges, and Jared Sosebee.

Honorary pallbearers will be Callie Sosebee, Lacey Sosebee, Bryson Sosebee, Peyton Sosebee, Ali Sosebee, and Ben Thompson.

Public viewing will begin at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. Family will visit with friends 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Monday night at the funeral home.
