Gwyn Marie Gipson

Gwyn Marie Gipson of Fort Smith, Arkansas, died Monday, March 2, 2026, in Fort Smith. She was born on July 17, 1962, in Fort Hood, Texas, to Richard Samuel Adamec and Carol Joan (Pirker) Adamec. She was 63 years old. She was preceded in death by her father, Richard Samuel Adamec, and her sister and brother-in-law, Shari and Jarvis Chronister..

For several years, Gwyn was a greeter at Walmart.

She is survived by her mother, Carol Adamec of Fort Smith; two sisters, Kim Corley and husband Vince and Traci Barker and husband Gary, all of Fort Smith; a brother, Michael Adamec and wife Cynthia of Fort Smith; and sveral nieces and nephews.

Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Brotherton Brothers Funeral Home and Flower Shop in Charleston.
