IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Gregory
White
July 5, 1943 – September 24, 2025
Gregory White, 82, passed away Wednesday, September 24, 2025, in Fort Smith, Arkansas. He was born on July 5, 1943, in San Antonio, Texas, to the late Richard White and Rita (Walker) White. As part of a military family, he spent his early life in many places, even Japan, where he graduated high school and hiked to the top of Mount Fuji. Later, his family settled in Checotah, Oklahoma, and he jumped straight into the business world working for many companies learning the ropes. He even became the president of a company with his own corporation. Throughout his lifetime, he became a master gardener and was well versed on how to live a healthy life. He cared deeply for his family and his faith. He was a man who loved God, a husband, a dad, a brother, and son. He was a teacher, counselor, and best friend. A hard worker and a servant of the Lord whom we know God has welcomed home in the heavens.
Greg was preceded in death by his parents, Richard and Rita White and his brothers, Andrew White and Richard White.
Graveside service will be at 10:00 a.m., Friday, September 26th at Lavaca City Cemetery in Lavaca, under the direction of Brotherton Brothers Funeral Home and Flower Shop of Charleston.
