Greg Thompson, 31, of Fort Smith, passed away Sunday, July 4, 2010 in Fort Smith. He was born February 2, 1979 in Fort Smith.
Greg was such a treasure to his friends. His heart was kind and larger than life. His smile and carefree, peace-loving kindness, has left a hole in our hearts forever.
He was preceded in death by his father, Mark Thompson; his step-father, Edward Mullen and grandfather, Fred Thompson.
Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m., Saturday, July 10th, at Brotherton Funeral Home Chapel in Paris, with Bro. Chris Sims officiating. Interment will be at Corley Cemetery, south of Paris, under the direction of Brotherton Brothers Funeral Home in Paris.
He is survived by his fiance, Jennifer "Mimi" Adair of Fort Smith; his daughter, MacKenzie Thompson of Texas; his mother, Janice Mullen of Tallahassee, Florida; paternal grandmother, Wandema Vlachos of Paris; maternal grandmother, Patsy Perdue of Lavaca; his sister, Jessica Sims and husband Paul of Van Buren and many more family and friends.
Pallbearers will be Jess Shaffer, Mike Giacinti, L.D. Yandell, Leon Hamilton, John Wilkerson, and Timothy Sims.
Family will visit with friends 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Friday night at the funeral home.
