Obituary

Glen Wilson "Red", who resided near Lavaca, Arkansas, passed away Friday, April 18, 2025, at his home. He was born on June 9, 1934, in Sebastian County near Lavaca to the late Arvil Wilson and Grace (Hunter) Wilson. He was 90 years old. He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Bill Wilson; and his sisters, Maxine Weiss, Ila Craft, Imogene Gann, and Ruth Steele.

Red served in the U.S. Marine Corps Reserves, the U.S. Army, and U.S. Navy Reserves. He was quick witted, he loved to make people laugh, and was an excellent gardner. He was much loved and will be missed greatly. He was lovingly known as Red.

He is survived by two daughters, Wanda Bordelon and husband Eric of Center Point, Louisiana, and Jane Wilson and her companion Tim of Barling; two sons, Doug Wilson of Benton and Stanley Wilson and wife Carli of Lavaca; six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; a sister-in-law, Linda Wilson of Lavaca; several nieces and nephews; and a best dog friend, Sara.

Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Brotherton Brothers Funeral Home and Flower Shop in Charleston.
