Obituary

Gerald Lee Miller who resided in Paris, Arkansas, passed away Monday, April 25, 2011 in a Fort Smith hospital. He was born October 24, 1931 in Nashville, Kansas to the late Walter Miller and Alice (Trentman) Miller. He was 79 years old.

Gerald was a 20 year retired U.S. Army veteran, serving in the Korean War and Vietnam War. He custom baled hay for the past several years, was a volunteer and supporter of the C.A.S.A. Organization, was a deacon and member of the Paris Free Will Baptist Church.

Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, April 27th at the Paris Free Will Baptist Church, with Rev. J.C. Kinder and Rev. Donnie Marvel officiating.

Interment will be at Baxley Cemetery in Paris with "Full Military Honors", under the direction of Brotherton Brothers Funeral Home in Paris.

He is survived by his wife of almost 56 years, Mary (Stinnett) Miller of the home; two daughters, Sherry Schluterman of Paris and Tracy Miller of Fort Smith; two sons, Jerry Miller of Paris and Darin Miller of Phoenix, Arizona; two sisters, Marilyn Bullard of Mineral Springs, Arkansas and Carol Haruf of Yuma, Colorado; two brothers, Dean Miller of Yuma, Colorado and Eddie Miller of Ellinwood, Kansas; (6) grandchildren and (11) great grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Gerald Harvell, Charlie Lievsay, Jimmy Luttrell, Rick, Mike, and Kenneth Stinnett.

Honorary pallbearers will be Wilbur Allio, Dale Galbraith, Jim Richardson, Harold Stewart, Eddie, Don, Bill, and Wayne Stinnett.
