George H. Lynch, who resided in Howe, Oklahoma, died Wednesday, January 26, 2022, in Fort Smith. He was born on September 4, 1931, in O'Brien, Texas, to the late George K. Lynch and Winnie (Wheedle) Lynch. He was 90 years old. He was preceded in death by a son, Ronnie Lynch.
George was a miner in his early years and owner/operator of Green Country Superette with locations in Poteau, Stigler and Heavener before his retirement.
He is survived by his wife, Robin of the home one daughter, Deborah Lynch of Oklahoma City; two step-sons, Daniel Ray Jennings of Wister and Christopher Robin Jennings of Hiram, Georgia; two nephews, Don Ritchey of Lovington, New Mexico, and Val Ritchey and wife Vicki of Reno, Nevada; two grandchildren, Levi Lynch of Tacoma, Washington, and Devin Ray Jennings of Fort Smith; and four great-grandchildren.
