George McMurtry, Jr., who resided in Paris, Arkansas, passed away Saturday, November 13, 2021, in Fort Smith. He was on born April 6, 1938, in Logan County, Arkansas, to the late George McMurtry, Sr. and Cricket (Scott) McMurtry. He was 83 years old.

Visitation will be held from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 17th at Brotherton Brothers Funeral Home in Paris. Cremation and services are under the direction of Brotherton Brothers Funeral Home in Paris.

He is survived by his wife, Janette (Foshee) McMurtry; one brother, Johnny McMurtry of Kansas; and several nieces and nephews.
