George William Caudell, who resided near Charleston, Arkansas, died Thursday, August 1, 2024, in Fort Smith, Arkansas. He was born on February 5, 1933, in Fall River, Kansas, to the late Spencer Caudell and Alma (Swisher) Caudell. He was 91 years old. He was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Randal Caudell; and four brothers.

George was a retired veteran serving 20 years in the U.S. Air Force. He also specialized in electronics and worked on pianos and organs and many other electronic devices. George was a member of Brooklyn Free Will Baptist Church near Ratcliff.

He is survived by his wife, Helen (Greenwood) Caudell; two daughters, Ranita White of Gunter, Texas, and Robin Castell of Kansas City, Kansas; a son, Harold Caudell of West Fork; (11) grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren.

A memorial service, with full military honors provided by the U.S. Air Force Honor Guard, will be held at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, August 8th at Brooklyn Free Will Baptist Church, with the Rev. J.L. Bonds officiating. Cremation and services are under the direction of Brotherton Brothers Funeral Home and Flower Shop in Charleston.
