Genevia D. Cameron, who resided in Paris, Arkansas, passed away Thursday, September 14, 2017, in Paris. She was born October 10, 1919 in New Blaine, Arkansas in Logan County to the late Frank Parker and Rosie (Roulston) Parker. She was 97 years old. She was also preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Horace "Buster" Cameron; a baby daughter, Barbara; three sons, Harold, Charles, and Arlis; one grandson, Chuckie Cameron; three sisters and four brothers.
Genevia worked at the shirt factory for many years and she was affiliated with the Assembly of God.
Funeral service will be at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, September 19th, at Brotherton Funeral Home Chapel in Paris, with the Rev. Tom Conway officiating. Burial will be at Elizabeth Hall Cemetery in New Blaine, under the direction of Brotherton Brothers Funeral Home in Paris.
She is survived by one son, Ray Cameron and wife Nancy of Charleston; three sisters, Wilma Jean Heflin and husband Larry of Russellville, Jessie Yarbrough of Danville, and Betty Miller of Sicily Island, Louisiana; one brother, James Parker and wife Cynthia of Pottsville; three grandchildren, Monica Hutchins of Branch, Mark Cameron of Roanoke, Texas, and Cynthia Cameron of Denton, Texas; ten great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be family members.
Family will visit with friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Monday night at the funeral home.
