Geneva Ezell resided in Tulsa, Oklahoma, formerly of the Crossroads Community, north of Subiaco, passed away Monday, December 20, 2010 at her daughter's home in Rose, Oklahoma. She was born October 11, 1938 near the crossroads in Logan County, Arkansas to the late Austin Augustus Moore and Julia Blanche (Spicer) Moore. She was 72 years old.
She is also preceded in death by two sisters, Julia Gay Green and Mary Kathryn Newman; one brother, Austin Lamar Moore.
Geneva was a homemaker, a 1956 graduate of Scranton High School, and member of the Port City Missionary Baptist Church in Catoosa, Oklahoma.
Funeral service will be 1:00 p.m. Thursday, December 23rd, at the Bethel Missionary Baptist Church in Paris, with Rev. Bob Featherston and Rev. Charles Horton officiating. Interment will be at McKendree Cemetery, north of Subiaco, under the direction of Brotherton Brothers Funeral Home in Paris.
She is survived by her husband, Leroy Ezell, of the home; one daughter, Darlene Bullett & husband Sonny of Rose, Oklahoma; one son, Roy Ezell & wife Paula of Fenton, Missouri; three sisters, Ora Mae Trusty of Paris, Lola Irene Cravens of Tulsa, and Wanda Featherston of Paris; one grandson, Sonny Ki Bullett.
Pallbearers will be Neal Green, Gary Green, Lee Claunch, David Cravens, Joe Herd, and Jackie Featherston.
Visitation will be 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday night at the funeral home.
