Gene Robert Huber, who resided in Greenwood, died Friday, July 17, 2020, at Mercy Hospital in Fort Smith. He was born April, 8, 1943, in Los Angeles County, California, to the late Glen and Lucille Huber. He was 77 years old. He was preceded in death by a sister, Yvonne Ortiz.

Gene was a retired self-employed design engineer and served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War.

He is survived by his wife of 32 years, Christine (Adamson) Huber; his children, Gerry Kirk of Springdale, Davon Loyd and husband Ray of Greenwood, and Taraa Langland and husband Joel of Everett, Washington; ten grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Also survived by his beloved nieces and nephews.
