Paul Eugene Eddings, who lived in Charleston, Arkansas, passed away Sunday, May 22, 2022, at his home. He was born on February 28, 1938, in St. Joe, Arkansas, to the late Preston Eddings and Tressie Carter. He was 84 years old.

Gene was a retired mechanic for McClinton Anchor in Harrison, Arkansas.

Family will hold a family gathering at a later date. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Brotherton Brothers Funeral Home and Flower Shop in Charleston.

He is survived by two daughters, Tammy Jones and husband Terry of Charleston and Gloria Eddings of Harrison; two sons, Danny Eugene Jones of Bergman and Thomas Gene Eddings and wife Jenni of Harrison; a sister, Lessie of Marshall; two brothers, W. F. Eddings and wife Darlene of St. Joe and Lonnie Joe Eddings and wife Becky of St. Joe; nine grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.
