Carroll (Gene) Brewer, 79, passed away on November 14, 2023, in Fort Smith, Arkansas. He was born in Elm Park, Arkansas, November 3, 1944, to the late Raymond and Ruby (Hattabaugh) Brewer. He was a 1962 graduate of Mansfield High School. He married his high school sweetheart, Donna Brewer, in 1963. Together they continued the family logging business, later passing it on to their two sons. They enjoyed traveling and spending time with their grandchildren.

He is survived by Donna Brewer; two sons, Jeff Brewer and wife Tammy and Mike Brewer and wife Kelly; three grandchildren, Brandon Brewer and wife Morgan, Kameron Turner and husband Matthew, and Nathan Brewer; as well as two great-grandsons, Cannon and Jake Turner all of Dayton, Arkansas. Also surviving is one sister, Joyce Ridenhour, as well as her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren of Waldron, Arkansas. He is preceded in death by his brother, Edmond Brewer, of Waldron, Arkansas.

Memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, November 28th at Dayton Church of Christ. There will not be a visitation. In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations be made to Southern Christian Home, 100 W. Harding St., Morrilton, Arkansas 72110.
