Gaylen L. Swenson, who resided in Greenwood, Arkansas, died Monday, August 30, 2021, at Pink Bud Nursing Home in Greenwood. He was born May 16, 1935, in Kenmere, North Dakota, to the late George and Lillian (Swanson) Swenson. He was 86 years old. He was preceded in death by a brother, Robert Swenson, and a sister, Laura Luke.

Gaylen was a retired row-crop farmer and was an U.S. Army veteran.

He is survived by two daughters, Phyllis Hickey and husband Harvey of Hackett and Deborah Rushing of Oklahoma; four grandchildren, John Valencia, Ashley Cluck, Krysta Davis and Dalton Hickey; eight great-grandchildren.
