Obituary
Gary Ray Shepheard, who resided in Charleston, Arkansas, passed away Monday, March 5, 2018, in Charleston. He was born June 12, 1951 in Tulsa, Oklahoma to Jimmie Ray Shepheard and Velma Jean (Deramo) Shepheard. He was 66 years old. He was preceded in death by his father, Jimmie Ray Shepheard; and a son, Lance Shepheard.
Gary worked several years for Correll, Inc. in Charleston, and he worked for Hayes Cabinetry in Ratcliff.
Funeral service will be at 11:00 a.m. Friday, March 9th, at Brotherton Funeral Home Chapel in Charleston, with the Rev. Wayne Looney officiating. Burial will be at Baxley Cemetery in Paris, under the direction of Brotherton Brothers Funeral Home and Flower Shop in Charleston.
He is survived by his wife, Carol (Essman) Shepheard; his mother, Velma Shepheard of Charleston; a sister, Darla Shepheard of Van Buren; his aunts and uncles, Loretta Williams, Glenda Wilkins, Willie Deramo, and Frankie Deramo.
Pallbearers will be Ted Parker, Ray King, Zach King, and Joseph Ragan.
The family will visit with friends from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Thursday night at the funeral home.
