Gary Zane Reed, who resided near Magazine, Arkansas, passed away Sunday, January 15, 2023, at his home. He was born on March 30, 1952, in Roswell, New Mexico, to the late Donald and Charlene (Arnold) Reed. He was 70 years old. Gary was preceded in death by his wife, Louella Reed; his parents; and a son, Jerald Reed.

Gary worked as a laborer in the oilfields.

He is survived by four sons, Zane Reed of California, Jesse Reed and wife Carley of Charleston, Jeremy Reed and wife Peighton, and Jason Reed and wife Victoria, all of Booneville; one brother, Darrell Reed; and seven grandchildren.

Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Brotherton Brothers Funeral Home and Flower Shop in Charleston.
