Gary Lynn Kuykendall, who resided in Etna, Arkansas, passed away Sunday, October 16, 2022, in Charleston. He was born on July 5, 1944, in Charleston, Arkansas, to the late Floyd Hardy Kuykendall and Clara Cleora (Wilson) Kuykendall. He was 78 years old. He was preceded in death by a grandson, Bryan Adam Biggs.
Gary was a 1962 graduate of Ozark High School, Arkansas Tech University, and served in the Arkansas National Guard. He was a retired field service representative for General Electric, member of the Ozark Jaycees, and member of Ozark Church of Christ.
Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 19th at Brotherton Brothers Funeral Home Chapel in Charleston, officiated by Mr. C.A. Kuykendall and Mr. Toby Hogan. Burial will follow at Cemetery Ridge Cemetery, located south of Ozark, under the direction of Brotherton Brothers Funeral Home and Flower Shop in Charleston.
He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Judy (Cox) Kuykendall; his daughter, Stacey Biggs and husband Jeff of Etna; a bonus son, David Cameron and wife Stephanie of Wichita, Kansas; two granddaughters, Alivia Neumeier and husband Ben and Abby Biggs; one great-grandchild, Averi Lynn Neumeier; and a sister-in-law, Betty Sue Campbell of Atlanta, Georgia.
Pallbearers will be Jeff Biggs, Ben Neumeier, Cade Johnson, David Cameron, Brian Johnson, and Kevin Pfeiffer.
Honorary pallbearers will be the 1962 Class of Ozark High School, G. E. co-workers, Jerry McElroy, Lucky Cannon, Jim Bearden, Jerry Jones, Clayton Tompkins, Mac Bornmann, and Charles Ray White.
Public viewing will be from 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, October 18th until service time. The family has invited friends and family to come to their home to visit instead of a formal visitation.
