Gary Wayne Goines of Van Buren, Arkansas, died March 21, 2024, at his residence in Van Buren. He was born on September 25, 1948, in Poteau, Oklahoma, to the late Arlen Goines and Opal May (Lovell) Goines. He was 75 years old. He was preceded in death by his wife, Brenda Purdom Goines; his sons, William Wayne Goines, Larry Wayne Goines, Gary Wayne Goines, II and Kevin Wayne Goines; his sisters, Brenda Gail Horne and Geneva Inez Goines Rosser; a brother, William Earl Goines; and one great-grandchild.

Gary was an auto paint technician.

He is survived by two sisters, Sue Hamm and Wilma Morgan; seven grandchildren, Kristin Lepha, Sylver Howard, Billy Rose, Jennifer Reasoner, L.J. Goines, Callie Goines, and Autumn Young; and (18) great-grandchildren.
