Gary Gene Biggers, Sr. of Charleston, Arkansas, passed away Monday, September 22, 2025, at his home. He was born on March 27, 1952, in Mountain Home, Arkansas, to the late Neal Preston Biggers and Betty Jean (East) Biggers. He was 73 years old. He was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters, Sue Brewer and Joan Brewer; five brothers, Eddie Biggers, Mark Biggers, Dennis Biggers, Steve Biggers, and Buddy Brown; and a great-grandson, Elijah Montgomery.
Gary was a retired heavy equipment operator for Forsgren, Inc. in Fort Smith. He loved spending time with his family and loved them all very much, especially his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He will be missed by everyone who knew him.
Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, September 26th at Brotherton Funeral Home Chapel in Charleston. Burial will follow at Nixon Cemetery in Charleston, under the direction of Brotherton Brothers Funeral Home and Flower Shop in Charleston.
He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Rose (Self) Biggers; a daughter, Amanda French and husband Chris of Charleston; three sons, Chuck Montgomery and wife Suzy, Gary Biggers, Jr. and companion Angie, and Pete Biggers and wife Crystal, all of Charleston; three sisters, Sherry Biggers of Palm Springs, California, Geannette Bowlin of Fort Smith, and Tammy Self of Van Buren; two brothers, Chris Self of Mt. Pine, Arkansas, and Don Lemons and wife Mary of Glenwood, Arkansas; (13) grandchildren; (19) great-grandchildren, with one more on the way.
Pallbearers are Pete Biggers, Gary Biggers, Jr., Chuck Montgomery, Gary Biggers, III, Zak Montgomery, and Chris French.
The family will visit with friends from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
