Garrett Freddie Quick, who resided in Greenwood, died Monday, April 13, 2020, in the Heart of Hospice Palliative Care Unit at Baptist Health Hospital in Fort Smith. He was born November 4, 1941, in Hartford, to the late John F. Quick and Bobbie G. (Smedley) Quick. He was 78 years old. He was preceded in death by a brother, John David Quick.

Garrett was a retired construction contractor.

He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Mary Katherine (Hoopengarner) Quick; two daughters, Tammy Santich of San Pedro, California and Susan Olmsted and husband Jon of Little Rock, Arkansas; three grandchildren, Garrett Olmsted, Anthony Santich and Robert Santich.

The family will have a family memorial service at a later date.
