Obituary

Gail Pool was born on February 16, 1936, in Magazine, Arkansas, to Marvin and Vivian Swaim. She married Billy Alton Carter at a young age and they had four daughters. She worked with him on a farm at Wildorado, Texas. She was a hard swept homemaker and did not believe dust was a "protective coating" for furniture.

She later married Larry Paul Pool and worked in their business in Booneville, Arkansas. She found joy as a gardener. There were many things she did not do. She taught a lot of people the value of hard work and a job well done. She is survived by four daughters; five grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and two sisters, Cindy Forsyth and Betty Fouts.

She will rest in peace at Oak Hill Cemetery in Boonville, Arkansas.

Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Brotherton Brothers Funeral Home in Paris.
