Freddie "J.C." Johnson, who resided in Charleston, passed away Tuesday, March 26, 2019, in Charleston. He was born June 16, 1941, in Los Angeles, California, to the late Fred E. Johnson and Edna Ward Johnson. He was 78 years old.

He was a Truck Driver for Alpha Packaging, and an U.S. Army veteran serving in the Vietnam War.

The family will hold a private memorial service at a later date.

He is survived by two sons, Freddie Johnson and wife, Pattie of Charleston and Dallan Johnson of Fresno, California; three daughters, Kathy Chalfant, Lisa Guerrero, and Laura Dozier, all of Fresno, California; two sisters, Letha Lane of Arizona and Gail Miller of Oregon; thirteen grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.

Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Brotherton Brothers Funeral Home and Flower Shop in Charleston, Arkansas.
