Obituary

Frankie Ray  Spiers, who resided in the Potts Community near Charleston, died Thursday, August 13, 2020, at his home. He was born September 27, 1934, in Stoney Point, Oklahoma, to the late Ora Spiers and Lida Mae (Chapple) Spiers. He was 85 years old. He was preceded in death by a son, John Spiers.

Frank was a retired lineman for OG&E for 33 years. He was an U.S. Army veteran, a master mason for over 30 years, and a member of Coles Chapel United Methodist Church.

Funeral service will be held privately due to COVID-19, with the Rev. Janet Barrow officiating. Cremation will follow after the service, under the direction of Brotherton Brothers Funeral Home and Flower Shop in Charleston.

He is survived by his wife, Linda (Moore) Spiers; his children, Lisa Lincks and Frank W. Spiers of Charleston and Doyle Spiers of Poteau, Oklahoma; six grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

Public viewing will begin on Tuesday, August 18th, from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
