Francis Joe Keener of Lavaca, Arkansas, passed away Monday, February 17, 2025, at his home surrounded by his family. He was born May 28, 1946, in Scammon, Kansas, to the late Earnest Lee Keener and Frances (Richardson) Keener. He was 78 years old. He was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters, Gladys Keener and Virginia Keener.

Francis was known for his passion of classic cars and trucks. He worked several years as a union millwright.

He is survived by a daughter, Jody Keener; three sons, Deshay Keener and wife Stacia, Winston Bostic and wife Denise, and Ronnie Bostic and wife Hope; two sisters, Doris Kenner and husband Cole and Carol Keener and husband Phillip; a brother, Virgil Keener; five grandchildren, Bretnee Beranke and husband Clint, Ashley Duncan and husband Hunter, Cody Bostic and wife Morgan, Matthew Caples and wife Jaleigh, and Brittany Marshall and husband Tucker; five great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and great-nieces and nephews.

Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Brotherton Brothers Funeral Home and Flower Shop in Charleston.
