Forrest Henry "Hank" Middleton, who resided in Lavaca, Arkansas, went to be with his Lord and Saviour on Saturday, April 29, 2017, in Fort Smith, Arkansas. He was born April 24, 1932, in Fort Smith to the late Elige and Willie Josephine (McGuire) Middleton. He was 85 years old. He was also preceded in death by one sister, Dorothy McClain; and four brothers, Woodard, Ralph, Eugene, and Paul Middleton.
Hank was retired owner and operator of Middleton Upholstery and Repairs in Lavaca. He was a staff sargent in the Army National Guard, active in prison ministry, and he was a member of First Southern Baptist Church in Central City.
Funeral service will be at 10:00 A.M. Tuesday, May 2nd, at First Southern Baptist Church in Central City. Interment will be at Oak Valley Cemetery, located south of Lavaca, under the direction of Brotherton Brothers Funeral Home and Flower Shop in Charleston.
He is survived by his wife of 27 years, Laura (Erlandson) Middleton; two daughters, Terri Inman and husband Terry of Subiaco and Susan Coppedge of Fort Smith; four sons, Steve Middleton and wife Judi of Farmington, Tony Tomsic, Jr. and wife Billie Jo of LaGrange, Kentucky, Scott Middleton of Oklahoma, and Randy Middleton of Fayetteville; one brother, Joe Middleton of Fort Smith; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Eric Mabry, Chris Thompson, Colby Graham, Mike Graham, Greg Piercy, and Kenny Hobbs.
Family will visit with friends from 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. Monday at the funeral home.
