Everett Monroe Wiltfong, who resided in Paris, Arkansas, passed away Sunday, November 30, 2014 in Fort Smith, Arkansas. He was born December 4, 1935 in Whitetail, Montana to the late Everett Arly Royal Wiltfong and Ruth Marie (Grey) Wiltfong. He was 78 years old. He was also preceded in death by one sister, Lucille Wiltfong and one brother, Ray Wiltfong.
Everett was retired maintenance for Omaha Standard. He was a Korean War Army veteran, and was a member of United Pentecostal Church.
Funeral service will be 10:00 a.m. Thursday, December 4th, at Brotherton Funeral Home Chapel in Paris, with the Rev. Brad Stovall officiating. Burial will be at 1:00 p.m. at the U.S. National Cemetery in Fort Smith, with military honors, under the direction of Brotherton Brothers Funeral Home in Paris.
He is survived by his wife of 37 years, Judy (Riechart) Wiltfong; two daughters, Sharon Petersen of Paris and Kim Vasquez and husband Tito of Fort Worth, Texas; three sons, Mark Wiltfong and wife Linda of Fort Worth, Texas, Tony Ferris of Paris, and Steve Pace and wife Michelle of Hackett; one sister, Carol Beerman and husband Ed of Paris; one brother, Tom Wiltfong and wife Joyce of Omaha, Nebraska; (18) grandchildren and (23) great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers are Mike Beraldi, Steven Pace, Justin Pace, Collin Whitfield, Mike Whitfield, and Brandon Vasquez.
Honorary pallbearers are Bill Brooks and Jacob Pace.
Family will visit with friends 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday night at the funeral home in Paris.
