Evelyn Elnora Richards of Charleston, Arkansas, died Friday, April 21, 2023, in Charleston. She was born on September 22, 1939, in Fairview, Illinois, to the late Kenneth H. Nelson and Iva Dell (Price) Nelson. She was 83 years old.

Evelyn was a homemaker.

She is survived by four daughters, Iva Loughridge and husband Kim of Charleston, Eva Olsen and husband Brian of Kibler, Ava Poindexter of Gans, Oklahoma, and Sue Cooper and husband Chris of Charleston; three sons, Kenneth Waggoner and wife Patsy of Savannah, Oklahoma, Boyd Waggoner and wife Sandy of Fort Smith, and Samuel Waggoner and wife Angelee of Fort Smith; a brother, Willard Nelson and wife Carman of Charlo, Montana; (14) grandchildren and (24) great-grandchildren,
