Obituary

Eula Mae Spicer, who resided in Scranton, Arkansas, passed away Sunday, January 29, 2012 in Paris. She was born April 17, 1926 in Ratcliff, Arkansas to the late Albert Ray Council and Linnie B. (O'Neal) Council. She was 85 years old.

She was also preceded in death by her husband, O.J. Spicer; one daughter, Betty Jean Riley; one grandson, Tony A. Riley; three brothers, Roger Ray Council, John B. Council, and G.S. Council.

Eula Mae was a homemaker, dairy and broiler farmer, and member of the Pleasant Hill Missionary Baptist Church.

Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 1st, at Pleasant Hill Missionary Baptist Church, with Rev. George Stricklen officiating. Burial will be at McKendree Cemetery, north of Subiaco, under the direction of Brotherton Brothers Funeral Home in Paris.

She is survived by two daughters, Janet Sue Fowler of Lavaca and Vickie Mae Spicer of Scranton; one son, Jimmy Don Spicer and wife Thelma of Paris; one sister, Norma Brown of Ratcliff; five grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Jared Fowler, Steve Ceniceros, Derek Spicer, Eric Ezell, Tyler Cloyde, T.J. Brown, Eldon McCaulley, Kenneth Fulmer, and Jerry Stephens.

Family will visit with friends 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday night at the funeral home.
