Obituary

Ethel Alberta Fingerhut, who resided in Roland, Oklahoma, died Tuesday, April 28, 2020, at her home. She was born November 16, 1941, in Jefferson City, Missouri, to the late Leon Vanover and Sadie M. (Cox) Vanover. She was 78 years old. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Charles Fingerhut; and a grandson, Damiel Ruiz.

Ethel was a homemaker. She was a member of Liberty Chapter #402, OES, in Fort Smith, member of the PTA, and member of Our Redeemer Lutheran Church in Fort Smith.

There will be a memorial service held at a later date at the Fort Smith National Cemetery.

She is survived by two daughters, Sherri Stone and husband Don of Greenwood and Teana Bailey and partner David of Perryville; two sons, William Fingerhut and wife Patty of Fort Smith and Charles Tann and wife Julie of Van Buren; two sisters, Irene Junejo of Seattle, Washington and Patty Torres of Fort Wayne, Indiana; (14) grandchildren, (32) great-grandchildren, and (4) great-great-grandchildren.
