Obituary
Ervin Fredrick Collins, who resided near Branch, Arkansas, passed away Monday, September 3, 2018, at his home. He was born February 20, 1960, in Morrilton, Arkansas, to Calvin Davis Collins and Katy Arbell (Tyler) Collins. He was 58 years old.
Ervin was a carpet layer for many years.
A family-held memorial service will be at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, September 8th, at First Baptist Church in Branch, with the Rev. Tim Hobbs officiating. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Brotherton Brothers Funeral Home and Flower Shop in Charleston.
Ervin is survived by a daughter, Destiny Newby and husband Allen of Blue Mountain; his mother, Arbell Phillips of Branch; three sisters, Alice Simmons of Morrilton, Allidean Kee of Beebe and Maxine Curtis of Russellville; six brothers, Calvin Collins of Dothan, Alabama, Alvin Collins of Morrilton, Carl Dean Collins of Hot Springs, Charles Collins of Eads, Colorado, David Collins of Branch and Ernie Collins of Paris; three grandsons and one granddaughter.
