Ernest Delbert Wilson of Paris, Arkansas, died Saturday, April 26, 2025, at Mercy Hospital in Fort Smith, Arkansas. He was born on May 8, 1938, in the Tate Community in Logan County near Booneville, Arkansas, to the late Clarence Monroe Wilson and Hettie Mae (Himes) Wilson. He was 86 years old. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Olen Wilson.

Ernest served in the U.S. Army. For many years, he worked at Ace Comb Factory in Booneville and he attended Paris Christian Center.

He is survived by his wife, Idalia (Marana) Wilson; two sons, Clifford Wilson and wife Vicky of Hackett and Bobby Joe Wilson and wife Debra of Beech Grove, Arkansas; one grandson, Daniel Wilson and wife Shannon of Centerton, Arkansas; one great-grandson, Draven Wilson and wife Hannah of Muldrow, Oklahoma; and one great-great-granddaughter, Katielynn Grace Wilson.
