Obituary

Ernest Eugene Hatcher, 93, of Paris died Sunday, Sept. 2, 2007, in Paris. He was born Dec. 5, 1913, in Hartman. He was a retired coal miner for U. S. Steel Company, member of UMWA District
22, First Assembly of God in Paris,
Project Compassion, won the Golden Harvest Award for his many hours of Volunteerism, resided on the board of the Logan County Senior
Citizens and was the widower of Lucy Hatcher.

Funeral will be 10 a.m. Wednesday at First Assembly of God in Paris with burial at McKendree Cemetery north of Subiaco under the direction of Brotherton Brothers
Funeral Home of Paris.

He is survived by a daughter, Jean Taber of Paris; a sister, Mamie Laster of Clarksville; a brother,
Voyd Hatcher of California; three
grandchildren and three great- grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be John Taber, Leonard Needham, Johnny Taber Jr.
and Victor Cozens.

The family will visit with friends from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
