Erika Christa Taylor of Greenwood, Arkansas, died Wednesday, August 9, 2023, near Booneville, Arkansas. She was born on March 20, 1946, in Poland. She was 77 years old. She was preceded in death by her mother, Irma (Weinkirn) Hofmann and her adopted father, Hans Hofmann. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Daniel Taylor.

Erika was a retired shoe cobbler and for several years, owned and operated a shoe repair shop in Greenwood.

The body was cremated and her urn will be placed next to her husband at Old Union Cemetery in Milltown-Washburn Community near Greenwood.

Cremation services are under the direction of Brotherton Brothers Funeral Home and Flower Shop in Charleston.
