Eric Fred Hudgeons of Fort Smith, Arkansas, died Sunday, June 11, 2023, at his home. He was born on February 20, 1966, in Aurora, Colorado, to the late Fred Gordon Hudgeons and Betty Lou (Conteras) Hudgeons. He was 57 years old.

For several years, Eric was a general contractor for Marcam Contracting in Cedar Park, Texas.

Eric Fred Hudgeons is remembered by his wife of over 32 years, Mary Alice (Johnson) Hudgeons; a daughter, Allison Nicole Hudgeons; and a son, Justin Quinn Hudgeons. Eric was a friend to all, dad to so many. He lived his life as a safe haven, a comforting smile, a big ol' bear hug, an adventurer, a seeker of joy and good time. He was a master of his craft, a creator of art, a tinkerer, a fixer of all things broken, and the teller of all stories. He will be remembered and forever loved as a rare beam of light that lit up everyone's life.
