Enola Nada McCartney of Ratcliff, Arkansas, died Tuesday, January 24, 2023, at Paris Health and Rehab Center in Paris, Arkansas. She was born on October 3, 1919, in the Lone Star Community in Sebastian County to the late Robert Charles Carter and Josephine (Sanderson) Carter. She was 103 years old. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Guy Raymond McCartney; two sons, Infant Raymo Gene McCartney and Gary Lee McCartney; five sisters; and eight brothers.

For many years, Enola was a seamstress at Lady Fair Mills in Ratcliff and the Pants Factory in Paris. She also was a cook at County Line School District. She was very strong in her faith and was a faithful member of Branch Church of Christ.

Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, January 27th at Brotherton Funeral Home Chapel in Charleston, with Mr. Larry Bean Officiating. Burial will follow at Caulksville Cemetery in Caulksville, under the direction of Brotherton Brothers Funeral Home and Flower Shop in Charleston.

She is survived by a son, Bobby McCartney and wife Judy of Ratcliff; a daughter-in-law, Ann McCartney of Ratcliff; four grandchildren, Kim, Darla, Shanna and Jeff; eleven great-grandchildren; and eleven great-great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers are Kyle Lunsford, Konnor Lunsford, Matt McCartney, Caleb Gilbreath, Glenn Gilbreath, and Jonathan Mitchell.

Honorary pallbearers are Nina Johnson, Erika Beck and staff of Heart of Hospice, and Alix (Sewells) Copsy and staff of Paris Health and Rehab Center.

The family will visit with friends from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. an hour prior to the funeral service on Friday morning.

In lieu of flowers, the family asked donations be made to Southern Christian Children's Home, P.O. Box 649 Morrilton, AR  72110-0649.
