Obituary

Emma B. Wiggins resided in Paris, Arkansas, passed away Thursday, August 19, 2010 at her home. She was born March 10, 1907 in Paris to the late Dr. William Horace Bennett and Mary Woodie Bennett. She was 103 years old.

She was also preceded in death by her husband, Uel U. Wiggins, Sr.; one sister, Morio Fleming, and four brothers, Dr. Byron Bennett, George "Dick" Bennett, Dr. William H. Bennett, and Joe Bennett.

Emma was a homemaker, member of the PEO, Paris Garden Club, and member of the First United Methodist Church in Paris.

Graveside Committal Service will be 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, August 24th, at Oakwood Cemetery in Paris.

Memorial service will be 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, August 24th, at the First United Methodist Church in Paris, with Rev. Jim Rowland officiating.

She is survived by two sons, Uel U. Wiggins, Jr. & wife Karen of Denton, Texas and Bill B. Wiggins & wife Sondra of Fort Smith; five grandchildren, Angela Traub & husband Lance of Prescott, Arizona, Brad Wiggins & wife Melissa of Subiaco, Zack Wiggins & wife Wendy of Huntsville, Jennifer Foster & husband Jonathan of Fort Smith, and Erin Wiggins of Dallas, Texas; seven great grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Tom Wiggins, Ted Wiggins, Jim Bill Wiggins, Payne Wiggins, Dean Wiggins, James Albert Komp, Jackie Komp, and Johnny Williams.

Honorary pallbearers will be her grandsons, Zack, Brad, and Jonathan.

Public viewing will begin at 12:00 p.m. til 8:00 p.m. Monday, August 23rd, at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the First United Methodist Church in Paris.
