Emma Sue Miller of Muldrow, Oklahoma, died Saturday, September 23, 2023, at Sequoyah East Nursing Home in Roland, Oklahoma. She was born on August 8, 1937, in Fort Smith, Arkansas, to the late Finish Clark and Thelma (Corbell) Clark. She was 86 years old. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, George J. Miller; a son, Chris Miller; and four brothers.

For 23 years, Emma worked for Okla Homer Smith Furniture Manufacturing Company in Fort Smith.

She is survived by two daughters, Jaylynn Howell of Muldrow and Jana Coleman of Roland; a son, Clark Miller of Fairview, Oklahoma; a step-daughter, Patti Harmon of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; a sister, Connie Earls of Arkoma; ten grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.

Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Brotherton Brothers Funeral Home and Flower Shop in Charleston. Emma's urn will be placed along side of her husband, George J. Miller, at Fort Smith National Cemetery in Fort Smith.
